Freelance Security Officer

Introduction

Ready for a new assignment in July? I am looking for a freelance Security Officer for an organization in the province of North Holland.

The organization is a dynamic player in the retail sector, specializing in selling a wide range of products and striving to provide a safe, accessible and enjoyable shopping experience for all its customers.

Job Information

As a freelance Security Officer, you are jointly responsible for implementing security improvements, both technical and organizational. You focus on risk and compliance and play an active role in detecting, monitoring, responding to and reporting potential IT security incidents, data breaches and CVD notifications.
You will contribute to the creation and implementation of a Security Awareness campaign to increase the organization's awareness of cybersecurity risks. In addition, you proactively initiate and substantiate information security improvements and support their implementation.
Within this role you are the point of contact in the field of information security and you are responsible for communicating the findings to various stakeholders. You will be working in the Security team, collaborating a lot with the IT Service, DevOps team and with external suppliers.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience within IT Security

• CISSP, CISM or similarly certified

• Experience with ISO 27001, CIS or PCI-DSS

• Knowledge of GDPR

Offer

• Starting in mid-July

• 4 month contract

• Opportunity for extension

• 36 - 40 hours per week
