Freelance Technical Information Security Officer

Introduction

I am looking for a Freelance Technical Information Security Officer (TISO) with experience in municipal organizations.

The organization is one that supports various municipalities with solutions to social issues. Because the organization works on behalf of various municipalities, they process a lot of confidential information - from personal data to policy-sensitive documents. Information security is not an afterthought, but a fundamental prerequisite for doing the work properly and responsibly.  

Job Information

As a Freelance TISO, you play a key role in securing and strengthening information security within this organization. You are responsible for identifying and analyzing security risks and translating them into clear reports and concrete security measures.
With your in-depth knowledge of cyber security, you provide strategic advice on improving IT security systems. You coordinate improvement projects and you are also closely involved in drafting information security policies, IT guidelines and security plans. In addition, you test and organize these frameworks practically and purposefully.
You perform risk analyses, vulnerability scans and audits on existing processes. You will also support external audits, perform GAP analyses and RI&Es.

In this role, you are the point of contact for information security. You advise and report directly to the CISO and management and ensure that the organization remains secure, future-proof and compliant.

Job Requirements

• 3 yr. experience in similar role
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002 & BIO.
• Knowledge of ENSIA
• Certification: ISFS-ISMAS/CISSP/ISSMP or similar

Offer

• Starting in late May
• Contract for 3 months
• Chance to renew
• 32 - 36 hours per week
• Hybrid working
