Freelance Data Scientist

Introduction

I am looking for an experienced Freelance Data Scientist for a large public organization with a complex operational environment. In this assignment, you will work on data-driven prediction models that have a direct impact on daily operations and strategic decision-making within a large-scale infrastructure environment.

Organization

You will be working within an IT & Data department that focuses on building a future-proof digital organization. Data science and machine learning play a key role in this. There is intensive collaboration in multidisciplinary teams consisting of data scientists, ML engineers, architects, and business stakeholders. Innovation, scalability, and reliability are central. Hybrid working is possible.

Job information

As a Data Scientist, you will develop and operationalize forecasting and machine learning models that are used for planning and decision-making. You will work with cloud-native technologies and contribute to the further development of a modern ML and data infrastructure. You will ensure that models are not only accurate, but also run stably in production and are continuously monitored and improved.
You will work closely with engineers, architects, and product owners to align technical choices with the product strategy. Your work will have a direct impact on large-scale operational processes and user experiences.

• Reliable and production-ready forecasting and ML models
• A well-monitored and scalable ML solution within the cloud environment

Job requirements

• HBO level
• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist / ML Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Python and machine learning
• Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps
