Freelance Functional Application Administrator (Youforce)

Introduction

I am looking for an experienced freelance functional application manager for a municipal organization in North Brabant. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and further developing multiple applications, and you will serve as the link between users, processes, IT, and vendors.

Organization

A municipal organization in which functional application management plays a central role in operations and digitization. You will work closely with colleagues in the information services department (IT consulting, IT management, IT security/privacy, and IT) and maintain functional relationships with external vendors.

Job Information

As a Functional Application Administrator, you ensure that applications function properly, align with business processes, and that users receive optimal support. You play an active role in improving processes and implementing new features.

Work includes, among other things:

• Designing and further developing applications, including a new HR system to be implemented, a security application, and the
• Geographic Information System (GIS) Management (BAG/BGT)
• Manage the enterprise service bus and be responsible for internal and external data distribution
• Rollout and testing of new features, including implementation plans and user manuals
• Adapting Workflows and Forms with a Focus on Customer Convenience
• Advising other teams on how to use the applications and providing in-person training
• Providing user support for complex reports
• Identifying malfunctions and proactively resolving complex incidents
• Maintaining working relationships with suppliers and ensuring internal communication
• Managing functional links between systems, authorizations, and the deployment of new releases

Job Requirements

• HBO-level work and thinking skills
• Experience as a Functional Application Administrator within a municipal organization
• Experience with Youforce
• Available for 36 hours per week
• Travel time of up to 60 minutes one way
• Strong communication skills, with an eye for (data) quality
• Actively seeks connections and collaboration

Pros
