Freelance Senior ICT Project Manager

Introduction

I am looking for an experienced Freelance Senior ICT Project Manager for a regional public sector cooperation organization. In this role, you will implement complex, multidisciplinary ICT and change projects with strategic impact within a political-administrative environment.

Organization

You will be working within a recently formed IT management organization that manages ICT services for several government organizations. The focus is on management, supplier management, and future-proofing the organization of information provision. Projects take place in a dynamic environment with administrative interests and various stakeholders. Hybrid working is possible.

Job information

As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the entire project cycle: from preparation and planning to implementation and transfer to management. You draw up project plans, work out schedules, budgets, and risks, and manage multidisciplinary teams.

You monitor progress, quality, scope, budget, and dependencies and report to the client and management team in a timely manner. In addition, you ensure formal delivery, transfer to management, and recording of lessons learned. Stakeholder management and balancing diverse interests are essential in this role.

Job requirements

• HBO working and thinking level
• Demonstrable experience as an ICT project manager
• Experience with complex change processes in an administrative context
• Knowledge of PRINCE2 and/or Agile
• Experience within municipal organizations
• Strong in stakeholder management, risk management, and communication
• Lives within 60 minutes of Groningen
