IT Contract and Service Management Manager

Introduction

I am looking for an experienced IT Contract & Service Management Manager for an organization in the financial sector. In this role, you will lead the IT team while also bearing ultimate responsibility for managing supplier contracts and ensuring the quality of the IT services provided.

An organization where IT services are largely managed by a central coordinating body. Strategy, quality assurance, and alignment are handled internally; operational execution is carried out through long-standing supplier relationships, with a focus on collaboration and mutual trust.
You’ll work closely with colleagues in architecture, business analysis, and project management. Short lines of communication, a high level of expertise, and plenty of room for your own input.

Job Information

As IT Contract & Service Management Manager, you will lead the IT team and foster a stimulating, safe, and development-oriented work environment. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that contracts for (critical) applications are documented accurately and in a timely manner, for ensuring compliance, and for ensuring the quality and delivery of IT services by vendors.

Work includes, among other things:

• Leading the IT Team: Coaching, Development, and Personnel Matters
• Management of supplier contracts, including renewal, termination, and compliance monitoring
• Primary point of contact for suppliers
• Monitoring supplier performance based on SLAs and XLAs and discussing improvement measures
• Verifying invoices and reporting on usage and budget variances
• Drafting new or revised SLAs and XLAs for projects and programs
• Contributions to contractual documents during the selection or renewal of suppliers

Job Requirements

• HBO-level work and thinking skills
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrable knowledge of contract and service management
• Experience leading an IT team
• Strong in decision-making, problem-solving, and a results-oriented approach
• A good networker, attuned to organizational dynamics, and aware of the environment
• Knowledge of privacy laws (GDPR) and information security
