Project Manager ICT Application Rationalization

Introduction

I am looking for an experienced Freelance ICT Application Rationalization Project Manager for a regional public organization. In this assignment, you will be responsible for merging, migrating, and modernizing complex application landscapes across multiple policy areas as part of a broader organizational restructuring.

Organization

You will be working within a public organization that is currently undergoing a phase of scaling up and harmonization. The Information & Automation program is working on future-proof services, with a focus on digitization, information security, and collaboration. The organization is characterized by an administrative-political context and a strong focus on transparency and reliability. Hybrid working is possible.

Job information

As an ICT Project Manager, you will lead multiple application rationalizations within critical domains. You will be responsible for drawing up and executing action plans, coordinating data migrations, and implementing newly procured applications. In doing so, you will monitor privacy and security requirements and ensure clear coordination between ICT, domain experts, information management, and user organizations. You will proactively report on progress, risks, and bottlenecks and act as a connecting link between technology, organization, and management.

Job requirements

• HBO+ working and thinking level
• At least 3 years of experience as an IT project manager in municipal environments
• Demonstrable experience with application rationalization and data migrations
• Experience with privacy and information security within the public sector
