Freelance CISO

Introduction

For a leading mental health institution, in the province of Utrecht, I am looking for an experienced Freelance Chief Information Security Officer.
 

Organization

The organization is a broad mental health facility with a diverse range of care. They provide professional help to clients of all ages, with a variety of mental health complaints and conditions.
Given the confidential nature of the care provided, information security is critical. Therefore, the organization is looking for an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) who can contribute to strengthening and professionalizing the information security policy.

Job Information

As Freelance CISO, you advise the organization on information security policies tailored to the specific needs and risks of the organization. You coordinate strategic information security activities and projects, initiate risk assessments and audits, and promote awareness among employees about the importance of strong information security. In doing so, you have an active role in motivating employees to continuously improve the security level in practice.

In addition, you are responsible for drafting and implementing the annual information security plan and monitoring the risks within the Information Security Management System.

You will advise and report directly to the board and management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CISO
• Recent demonstrable work experience in the healthcare industry
• CISSP, CISM or similar is preferred
• Knowledge of NEN 7510, ISO 27001/2 and NIS2
• Knowledge of AVG

Offer

• Starting in June
• 1-year contract
• 36 hours per week
• Partly on site, partly remote
