Freelance Chief Information Security Officer

Introduction

Do you have at least three years of experience as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), preferably within a municipality or government agency? And are you available immediately for a new assignment where you can start as soon as possible?

Organization

You will be working at a municipal organization in the province of North Holland. You will be part of a small, close-knit team in which you will work closely with the Information Security Officer, Privacy Officer, Project Leader I&A and the Information Advisor.

Job Information

As Freelance CISO, you will assess and advise on the current state of information security for this organization. You will develop policies and ensure the implementation of NIS2 and BIO. This includes analyzing the current information security situation, preparing advice and improvement plans for the board and management, and developing and implementing policies in accordance with the applicable standards. You coordinate the implementation of improvement measures, work closely with internal stakeholders to create support and advise on laws and regulations surrounding information security. In addition, you are committed to increasing awareness of security within the organization.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CISO

• Work experience in municipal organization or within the government

• Extensive knowledge of information security legislation

• CISM, CISSP or similarly certified

Offer

• Up to 32 hours per week
