Information Security Officer

Introduction

Expert in the field of information security and looking for a new assignment as of September? For an organization in the Randstad area, I am looking for a freelance Information Security Officer.  
 

Organization

The organization has just over 300 employees, spread across several departments. All colleagues are highly committed and perform work day and night for two different institutions within the same sector. Together with the Information Manager and the Privacy Officer, you are responsible for performing all tasks related to computerization.

Job Information

As a freelance Information Security Officer you are a specialist and the point of contact in the field of information security within this organization. You perform risk analyses and translate these into appropriate security measures.

You act as advisor for management and other colleagues within the IT department and provide them with concrete recommendations on security issues. In addition, you promote awareness and urgency of information security and privacy throughout the organization and ensure that the recommendations are followed up.

In case of incidents, data breaches or calamities you offer support and think along about structural improvements. You will also contribute to audits and supervise security investigations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience within information security
• CISA, CISM or CISSP certified
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/2 and SURFaudit.  
• Experience with risk analysis

Offer

• Starting in September
• 32 - 36 hours per week
• 4 month contract
• Opportunity for extension
