Freelance Privacy Officer

Introduction

I am looking for a Freelance Privacy Officer who is available starting in July.

Organization

The organization is based in South Holland and is part of a broader collaborative structure within the region. In this role, you will work organization-wide and provide your expertise to multiple units within these partnerships. This means that you will tackle a variety of issues in a dynamic work environment where privacy and information security are high on the agenda.

Job Information

As a Freelance Privacy Officer, you are responsible for implementing and ensuring privacy measures within the organization. You will actively contribute to AVG compliance and support the organization in dealing with privacy issues.
Your duties include:

• Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs);

• Drafting and reviewing operating agreements and processor agreements;

• Answering a variety of privacy-related questions from within the organization;

• Advising on privacy risks and implementing appropriate control measures.

In this role, you will work closely with the Security team - consisting of the CISO and Information Security Officers - as well as the legal team.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Privacy Officer 

• Experience with PIAs and DPIAs is strong advantage

• Knowledge of AVG, Privacy Law and Information Security

• Relevant legal knowledge or a legal background
