Freelance Project Manager Digital Transformation

Introduction

For a developing national organization I am looking for an experienced Freelance Project Leader Digital Transformation. In this role you will manage two strategic change projects: the organization-wide introduction of process-driven and digital collaboration as well as a leadership program focused on digital leadership and the strategic use of IT within business operations.

Organization

You will be working within a large, complex organization with over 900 professionals that is firmly committed to digitization and future-proof information provision. The coming years will be marked by modernization, process improvement and a more data-driven way of working.
Within the transformation program you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams. You will have the space to use your expertise for adoption, power of change and implementation of new digital ways of working. Hybrid working is possible in consultation.

Job Information

As Digital Transformation Project Leader, you will be responsible for leading two interrelated change tasks:

1. Process-driven & digital collaboration.
You will focus on
Leading all project phases from anchoring to development.
Leading project teams with process managers, consultants and subject specialists.
Identifying, modeling and optimizing business processes.
Organization-wide implementation of process-driven and case-oriented work.
Embedding of digital collaboration in MS Teams and a modern digital working environment.
Coordination with other technical implementations within the IT domain.
Reporting on progress, results and bottlenecks.

2. Digital Leadership
Your work will include
Develop and implement a leadership approach focused on digital maturity.
Organize learning processes in which management learns to apply IT as a strategic tool.
Strengthen ownership and command and control around digitalization.
Facilitate workshops, intervisions and training modules.
Embedding digital practices and exemplary behavior within the management cycle.

Roadmaps, process models, governance setup and formats.
A leadership program with training, intervision and practical assignments.
Measurable growth in adoption, change capability and digital governance.

Job Requirements

• HBO level
• At least 6 years of experience as a project leader within change or digitization assignments
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in process management, process optimization and implementation
• At least 3 years of experience with case-based or process-driven work
• At least 3 years of change management experience
• Minimum of 3 years of adoption counseling experience
• At least 3 years of experience in setting up governance and management structures
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or PRINCE2
• Experience with Lean (preferred: Black Belt)
• Experience with digital collaboration in MS Teams
• Experience with AI applications is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
