Freelance Azure Cloud Engineer

Introduction

I am looking for an experienced Freelance Azure Cloud Engineer for a leading organization with a strong cloud-first strategy. In this assignment, you will work on designing, automating, and managing a scalable and secure Azure platform. You will start as soon as possible and make a direct contribution to the further professionalization of the cloud environment.

Organization

You will join a specialized cloud platform team responsible for delivering standardized Azure services to multiple internal teams. The organization works according to modern cloud principles such as Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and Enterprise Scale. There is a strong focus on governance, security, and component reusability.

Job information

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will work on developing and managing an Azure platform that meets high standards in terms of security, compliance, and automation. You will build and maintain reusable infrastructure components, support teams with onboarding to the platform, and optimize CI/CD processes.

You will be involved in lifecycle management of Azure resources, strengthening governance through policies, and automating deployments with Bicep and pipelines. In addition, you will work on network and security components within an enterprise landing zone and advise teams on best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps methodologies.

Job requirements

• HBO/WO working and thinking level
• Sterke kennis van Azure
• Ervaring met Bicep/ARM 
• Ervaring met CI/CD
• Ervaring met Cloud governance
• Knowledge of networking and security within Azure
