Freelance GRC Officer

Introduction

I am looking for an experienced Freelance GRC Officer for a large municipal organization. In this role, you will support the implementation of new GRC tooling and contribute to strengthening the information security and compliance policy.

Organization

You will be working within a central IT organization where information security is high on the agenda. The organization invests heavily in digital resilience, compliance, and the further professionalization of governance, risk, and compliance processes. You will work closely with security specialists, administrators, and management. Hybrid working is possible.

Job information

As GRC Officer, you will play a key role in the implementation project for new GRC tooling. You will assess BIO measures, set up the compliance module functionally, and further develop the BIO control framework. In addition, you will translate standards frameworks such as BIO and GDPR into concrete policies and measures and supervise internal audits within the IT organization.

Your commitment directly contributes to a demonstrably compliant and future-proof security framework.

• Successful implementation of GRC tooling
• Updated and elaborated BIO control framework
• Demonstrable BIO compliance within the IT organization

Job requirements

• HBO working and thinking level
• Experience with audits and compliance assessments
• Demonstrable knowledge of BIO and ISMS
• Experience with GRC tooling (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Strong communication skills

Offer

• Start: as soon as possible after valid Certificate of Good Conduct
• Duration: 6 months (no extension)
• Hours: 36 per week
