Linux Engineer

Introduction

I am looking for an experienced Linux Engineer for a large, complex organization. In this role, you will combine in-depth Linux knowledge with platform engineering: you will work on a stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure and actively contribute to the further development of container platforms. Coaching and knowledge sharing are an important part of your role.

Job information

As a Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and further professionalizing the Linux platform. You will work hands-on on automation, stability, and security and support teams in using the platform.
An important part of the environment is a large-scale container platform based on OpenShift/Kubernetes. You will play a key role in developing platform functionalities that enable self-service and automated management. In addition, you will act as a substantive sparring partner for engineers and architects and actively share knowledge within the team.
Your efforts will directly contribute to a robust infrastructure that is ready for further growth and innovation.

Job requirements

• HBO/WO working and thinking level
• Extensive experience as a Linux Engineer in enterprise environments
• Experience with container platforms (Kubernetes / OpenShift)
• Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience with coaching and knowledge sharing within teams
