Freelance Consultant Information Security

Introduction

For a public organization in Eindhoven I am looking for a Freelance Advisor Information Security.

Organization

This organization has a social mission and works on digital resilience and reliable services. From a hybrid working form, you will work with the CISO, IT specialists and policy advisors to improve processes, systems and awareness around information security.

Job Information

As Information Security Advisor, you are responsible for implementing targeted improvement projects and advising on appropriate measures. You will translate complex risks into practical solutions and ensure that policy and technology reinforce each other.

Core of the role:

• Limiting USB traffic and setting up exception procedures with approval
• Reduce and control high-risk cloud uploads
• Follow up on internal information security findings and improvement actions
• Support the application of data classification and information management
• Coordinate awareness activities focused on secure digital working

Job Requirements

• HBO+/WO level
• Knowledge of BIO 2.0, NIS2, ISO 27001/27002
• Experience within the (semi-)public sector is a pro
• Experience with exercise methodology, evaluation and improvement cycles
• Communication skills
