Freelance CISO

Introduction

For a community organization in the province of Overijssel, I am looking for a freelance CISO who understands the healthcare sector, understands risks and makes digital security practical.

The organization is committed to serving people with physical, mental or multiple disabilities. With a broad range of care, they support clients of all ages on a daily basis.

Job Information

As a freelance CISO, you are the strategic point of contact for information security within the organization.

You develop and implement an organization-wide information security strategy that aligns with business objectives and complies with NEN 7510 certification. You monitor compliance with laws and regulations, such as the AVG, NIS2 and you coordinate the NEN 7510 audit.

You are responsible for drafting, implementing and testing the information security policy. In doing so, you identify risks and technological developments, which you translate into appropriate and practical measures.

You advise management, the Executive Board and the Board of Directors in audits, incidents and compliance issues and you implement awareness programs, in which you train and motivate employees to actively contribute to a secure digital working environment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a CISO

• Experience coordinating NEN 7510

• Experience with AVG and NIS2

• CISM, CCISP or similar certified

Offer

• Start date by arrangement

• 6-month contract

• Chance of extension

• 32 hours per week

• Hybrid working (2 days on site)
