Freelance GCP Cloud Engineer

Introduction

For a leading player within European e-commerce, I am looking for a Freelance Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Organization

This organization is an established name in online retail and known to almost everyone. Their digital platforms serve millions of users every day and there is continuous innovation and investment in smart, scalable IT solutions.
The office is located in the Utrecht region, easily accessible by both car and public transport, and offers ample parking. The team works at least 2 days a week in the office.

Job Information

As a Freelance Cloud Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure team, playing a key role within the organization's technology backbone. You will focus on managing, optimizing and extending the existing GCP environment, and assist in the continued rollout of new tools and platform services.
Experience with Kubernetes is important as this environment is large and complex. Terraform is also heavily used within a well-managed environment, so knowledge of this is a strong plus.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Terraform is a plus
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Scripting
