Freelance M365 Specialist

Introduction

I am looking for a Freelance M365 Specialist for a regional organization undergoing transition. You will play a central role in the transition to a modern Microsoft 365-based workplace and help create a future-proof digital working environment.

The organization is at the start of a large-scale modernization of the workplace. Your technical experience and architectural knowledge are essential for setting up, migrating, and optimizing the new M365-based environment. Hybrid working is possible.

Job Information

As an M365 Specialist, you will be jointly responsible for the technical transition to a modern cloud workplace. You will support the implementation of the new M365 architecture, supervise migrations, and continuously weigh user needs, security aspects, and organizational interests.

You will work on designing, implementing, and optimizing various Microsoft 365 domains. In addition, you will automate management processes, ensure the secure adoption of new functionalities, and support colleagues with technical issues.

Technical focus areas

Core technologies:
Windows, Android, iOS, Intune, MAM/MDM, Entra ID, OneDrive, Teams, Defender for Endpoint, Windows Server, PowerShell Automation

Pre-techniques:
Microsoft Purview, Ivanti, Winget, Chocolatey, PSADT, ShareGate, AvePoint Fly, Exchange Online, Active Directory, Azure IaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop

Result of the assignment:

• A stable, furnished, and optimized modern workplace environment
• Successful transitions and migrations within the Microsoft cloud architecture

Job Requirements

• HBO level, preferably towards ICT
• At least 4 years of experience as a technical specialist in Microsoft Server environments
• At least 4 years of experience in setting up and migrating to modern cloud workplaces (M365/Azure)
• Demonstrable M365 track record within at least 3 different organizations
• Experience with cloud migrations and modern endpoint management techniques

• Duration: until May 31, 2026 (option to extend)
