Freelance Security Consultant

Introduction

I am looking for a Freelance Security Consultant for an organization in the eastern part of the country.

Organization

It is a public organization responsible for managing water quality, safety and sustainable wastewater treatment.

Job Information

As a Freelance Security Consultant, you have an important role in protecting the organization from increasing cyber threats. Together with the Information Security Team, you are responsible for the security and processing of all data within the organization. You will develop and monitor security strategies, ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information, and ensure that the IT infrastructure is resilient to potential risks.

You implement and execute information security policies, contribute to the creation and implementation of security guidelines and procedures, and assist in performing risk assessments. In addition, you integrate security measures into system designs and implementations, monitor and effectively handle security incidents. You are the central point of contact within the organization for security issues and play an active role in increasing security awareness among colleagues.

Finally, you participate in internal and external audits and advise in projects and strategic trajectories in the field of information security.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT Security

• Knowledge of security frameworks

• CISSP, CISM, CCSP or similar

• Knowledge of cloud and IT Infra Security

Offer

• Starting in July

• 6-month contract

• 36 hours per week

• 2 days on site
