Freelance Backup Specialist

Introduction

For my relationship I am looking for an experienced Freelance Backup Specialist who, in addition to performing migrations, also actively thinks about automation and optimization of backup processes.

Job Information

Your duties include:

• Migrating Commvault backup to Rubrik.
• Set up and maintain bicep scripts and pipelines for backup automation.
• Monitor and optimize backup and recovery processes.
• Advise on best practices and improvements within the backup infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth migration and continuous availability.

Job Requirements

• Extensive experience with Commvault and Rubrik backup solutions.
• Knowledge of Bicep and setting up automated pipelines.
• Experience with migrations of enterprise backup systems.
• Problem solving skills and an eye for process optimization.
• Ability to work independently but also well in a team.

Offer

• Starting as soon as possible
• 3 to 6 months
• Option to extend
• 20 to 40 hours per week
• Hybrid working (Gelderland)
