Freelance Senior iOS Developer

Introduction

For a digital organization, I am looking for an experienced Freelance Senior iOS Developer to commit to the ongoing development and modernization of a major consumer app over the next few months.

The organization is in the midst of a broader transformation of its mobile landscape. It is working on improving the technical base, increasing scalability and establishing a future-proof architecture. Within the mobile teams there is an open, multidisciplinary working atmosphere in which initiative, cooperation and quality are central.

Job Description

In this role, you will be closely involved in further professionalizing the iOS app and its underlying architecture. You will work in a team where designers, testers, analysts and developers meet daily to make the app more user-friendly, secure and technically stronger. You will actively contribute to thinking out solutions for new functionalities and help the team make sustainable choices in terms of technology and design. In addition, you play an important role in monitoring code quality and support fellow developers with more complex issues. You also work closely with architects and solution designers to translate business requirements into clear, feasible technical proposals. You are visible in consultations, give direction when necessary and ensure that technical choices are well understood and supported. Within the team you are seen as a sparring partner and someone who helps others grow.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with iOS development
• Strong in Swift, Xcode and modern iOS concepts
• Experience with test automation and version control
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus
• Communicative and proactive
• Coaching is a plus

Offer

• Starting no later than Jan. 5
• Contracts per quarter
• 4 days a week
• Largely remote
• 1 fixed office day per week at a location of your choice
