Electronic Security Engineer

Organization

You will be part of a technical project team responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing electronic security solutions. The organization works on a wide range of projects in areas such as high-end utilities, technical infrastructure, logistics environments, and innovative business complexes.

The projects range from new construction and system integration to modernization and lifecycle management of existing installations. Collaboration is key: you will work closely with engineers, project leaders, suppliers, and IT specialists to develop future-proof solutions.

Job information

As an Electronic Security Engineer, you are responsible for the technical design, implementation, and optimization of electronic security systems. You translate customer wishes and functional requirements into concrete technical solutions and ensure stable and well-integrated implementation.

Your duties will include:

• Designing and configuring access control systems, CCTV solutions, and intrusion detection systems
• Integrating security systems with IT and network infrastructures
• Preparation of technical documentation and diagrams
• Supervising installation, testing, and commissioning
• Analyzing and resolving technical malfunctions
• Advising on optimizations and future expansions

You will be given the opportunity to contribute your ideas on architectural choices and standardization. Depending on your experience, you can take on a leading role in projects or progress towards becoming a senior or lead engineer.

Job requirements

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Technical Informatics, or similar
• Experience with electronic security systems (such as access control, CCTV, and/or intrusion detection)
• Affinity with IP networks and system integration
• Experience within project-based technical environments
• Good command of the Dutch language

Pré:

• Experience with complex utility projects or technical infrastructure
• Knowledge of relevant standards within security technology
